Aileen moved back to England at the age of seventeen and studied Business
Studies while working with Rank Xerox for nine years writing software. Painting
in the evenings and dreaming of moving back to Ireland.
Aileen now spends most of her time juggling while rearing three beautiful
children and painting in her studio. Time spent in her studio is a break from
being a Mum and delving into her passion of creating colourful art. Aileen has
always loved music playing in the background. She would dance the Tango around
the easel while painting so freely. She has exhibited in group shows around the
country and enjoyed many commissions. Aileen started as a water colourist, but
moved to oils for the vibrant colours and textures that she can build into the
movement and curves of her creations.
Her paintings are to be found in her local Gallery, The Bold Art Gallery,
Merchant's Road Galway, and Gift Gallery, Circular Rd, Tuam, Co. Galway.
Aileen's art is now in both public and private collections in Ireland, UK and
abroad.
